Michael D. Betrus focuses his practice on civil litigation, state and federal employment law, and business disputes.
Michael attended Texas A&M School of Law and graduated with his J.D. in 2024. While in law school, Michael interned for First Liberty Institute in Plano, Texas, where he worked on various appellate cases, including up to the Supreme Court of the United States. Additionally, he served as President of Christian Legal Society and was on the board of the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law as the Senior Articles Editor. Michael also spent over a year clerking for Pham Harrison.
Prior to law school, Michael graduated from the University of Oklahoma (OU) with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Classical Culture. While at OU, he played baseball during the 2019–2020 season and made the 2020 Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
In his free time, Michael is an active member at Church at the Cross (Grapevine, TX) and enjoys spending time with his wife Abegale, mountain climbing, and reading theology and history books.
