Spencer Mainka Named Outstanding Young Lawyer of Tarrant County

Pham Harrison Senior Associate Spencer Mainka has been recognized as the 2024 Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Tarrant County Bar Association (TCBA) and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association (TCYLA). Spencer will be presented with the award during the 2024 Law Day Luncheon on May 1, 2024.

Spencer Mainka focuses her practice on defending employers in state and federal employment law proceedings. She also regularly handles charges of discrimination and retaliation filed with government agencies, mediates complex business disputes, and defends clients in arbitration. 

Spencer is a former board member of TCYLA, has served on the Texas Minority Council Program (TMCP) steering committee since 2023, is a board member at Amphibian Stage, and is a member of the LGBT Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. She graduated in 2019 from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she served as a board member for the Employment and Labor Law Student Association and completed a concentration in Workplace Law. 

TCYLA is a professional organization that engages in community service projects, holds CLEs and offers networking and mentoring opportunities for young lawyers.

TCBA is a professional organization comprised of over 2,600 lawyers, judges, law students, and other legal professionals in and around Tarrant County. Working to improve the administration of justice, elevate standards of professional conduct, support professional development, and promote respect for the legal profession by the public, TCBA also supports the community by promoting free legal education and information.
