Update: Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Expanded FMLA Effective April 1, 2020

The Department of Labor issued guidelines for the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) today, March 25, 2020. In those guidelines, the Department of Labor provided the effective date for the FFCRA is April 1, 2020. Under the language of the FFCRA, the Act was to take effect no later than April 2, 2020.
